KUNZ - No 102 Apron Plane

The Kunz No.102 apron plane is a plane you will reach for again and again.
Thanks to its compact and handy size it can be carried in your apron pocket ready to use at a moments notice.
The body is manufactured from fine grey cast iron and coated with the distinctive KUNZ green epoxy resin.
The iron is produced from optimum quality tool steel and hardened to approximately 62 Rockwell HRC.
Kunz supply the plane with the iron sharpened but we would highly recommend that you hone it prior to use. Lapping the sole on 320g Wet and Dry abrasive paper on a flat surface i.e a piece of float glass will take the plane to another level.
