Rustins - Shellac sanding sealer

Flake shellac dissolved in alcohol.
Shake well before use!
Suitable for sealing all types of wood prior to French Polishing, before waxing or as a finish in its own right. (wood should be clean and smooth. If grain is open fill with Rustin's Grain Filler)
When using as a finish apply as many coats as required to build up satisfactory layer of shellac.
When using as a sealer before waxing apply 2 liberal coats.
Drying time : 1 to 2 hours approx (depending on temperature and humidity)
Recoat time: approx 2 hours (depending on temperature and humidity)
coverage: approx 13 to 15 sqare metres per litre
Can be dyed with Rustin's Wood Dye prior to sealing, once set the sealer can be waxed.

1: Keep away from children.
2: Highly Flammable. Avoid sources of ignition, store in a cool dry place and do not smoke.
3: Harmful by inhalation, harmful by skin contact, harmful if ingested.
