The shropshire fastener is heated in fire then hammered on an anvil into a leaf like shape. The mild steel is then finished in From The Anvil's popular pewter patina finish.
The pewter finish is elegant and beautifully highlights the texture of the steel. The unique and complex process runs deep into the metal resulting in an unmatched contrast of texture and colour.
Designed to fit casement windows and match the shropshire stays in the range.
Reversible design and includes a mortice plate to fit on left and right handed windows.
Sold with matching wood screws.
